Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants is looking for a dedicated member for the Field Operations People Learning & Development team to assist in achieving sales and operational goals. You will train staff and support restaurant openings to deliver excellent service while motivating the team.

Successful candidates should have restaurant management experience and be able to promote guest satisfaction and safety within a thriving environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to travel to assist in new restaurant openings or operations support (up to 60% of the time).

At Checkers & Rally’s we serve the hardworking and often under\-recognized Franchisees, Company Operations, and Guests. As a member of the Field Operations People Learning & Development team you will assist the General Manager, District Manager, and New Restaurant Opening (NRO) Training Manager by executing restaurant plans, achieving sales and profit goals, executing procedures, and providing excellent Guest and Team service. You will lead and provide training through new restaurant openings and other training initiatives. Success in this role requires the ability to meet target restaurant metrics and to motivate with a contagious enthusiasm that strengthens our culture and brand.

• Building sales and profits by promoting guest satisfaction
• Escalating any concerns or recommendations to the General Manager
• Identifying and responding to guest needs

YOU’VE GOT THIS ?

• High School Diploma or GED – Preferred
• 1‑2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)
• Food Safety Certified
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to train in group settings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to listen, ask the right questions, and understand the needs of a trainee
