Job Duties

• Operate all store equipment
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler
• Prepare product
• Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork
• Clean equipment and perform other daily cleaning tasks
• Participate in on‑the‑job orientation and training (provided by the company)

Essential Functions / Skills

• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately and quickly (calculator permitted)
• Calculate and give correct monetary change
• Effective verbal, written, and telephone communication with customers and coworkers
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands to make rapid, accurate movements
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks; in‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas; exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.

Sensation requirements include clear vision for most in‑store tasks, depth perception, discrimination of hot and cold surfaces, and hearing for telephone conversations.

Physical Demands

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum; work surfaces range from 36” to 48” high.
• Walking: Short distances and durations.
• Sitting: Paperwork performed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb) unloaded with a hand truck; heavy items up to 3 ft × 1.5 ft.
• Carrying: Items weighing up to 30 lb (e.g., pizza sauce) carried from storage to counter; trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb each) carried in groups of three.
• Pushing / Pulling: Trays on dollies, 24–30 in., requiring force up to 7.5 lb.
• Climbing: Occasionally navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance.
• Stoop/Bending: Forward bending for 30–45 s intervals during pizza assembly and stocking;
• Crouching / Squatting: Occasional on stocking or cleaning low areas.
• Reaching: Above and below 72 in. to operate ovens, change signs, and retrieve ingredients.
• Hand Tasks: Frequent use of hands, forearms, and wrists; manipulate pizza peel, rolling cutter, and box assembly.

Driver Responsibilities (if applicable)

• Deliver products by car to customer doors; distribute flyers and door hangers.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record as per company standards.
• Provide access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Employ navigational skills to locate addresses within the delivery area, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other sites.
• Carry products (pizzas, sides, beverages) while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Drive within a designated delivery area, making several deliveries per shift.
• Walk between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations; climb multiple flights of stairs as required.
