Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the Profit Center Manager in applying company policies and driving profitability. You will help oversee daily operations, coordinate equipment purchases, and ensure DOT and safety compliance while leading a team to meet performance goals.

You will work with a skilled team, manage dispatching and reporting, and contribute to an efficient, customer-focused operation at the Profit Center.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver's license is required.
• 1–2 years of rental industry experience or a business management degree.

Responsibilities

• In charge of Profit Center in the absence of the Profit Center Manager.
• Assist in applying Sunbelt policies and maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and safety requirements.
• Perform dispatching duties and daily yard inspections.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Profit Center Manager in applying Sunbelt policies. Concentrating focus on maximizing the profitability of the Profit Center ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In charge of Profit Center in the absence of the Profit Center Manager. Assess daily the need for purchasing equipment through feedback from salesman, CSRs, customer feedback, vendor representatives and marketing department product managers. Assess and modify (if needed) weekly sales plans and ensure that they are carried out appropriately. Ensure on-going compliance with all statutory DOT and safety requirements. Perform dispatching duties (if needed) Inspect Profit Center yard daily. Ensure OSRs and CSRs are aware of slow moving equipment. Ensure that Shop Foreman is aware of all equipment not available for rent. Ensure that Profit Center Yard, facility and staff are presentable. Various reporting, including, but not limited to: daily contract reports/AP on hold/accrual reports/asset disposal report. Ensure team is meeting goals, complying with company standards through daily management. Perform other duties assigned by the PCM.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's license.
• 1-2 years of Rental Industry experience or a Business Management degree

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range: $74,509.00 - 102,449.60 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
