Planet Fitness in Warren, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager to deliver a superior member experience and lead a team to operational excellence.

You will support the General Manager, assist with recruitment and training, greet members, respond to inquiries, and ensure a welcoming, clean club environment. This role offers benefits, growth opportunities, and a night-shift premium.

Qualifications

• At least one year of management experience.
• Associate’s degree in Exercise Science, Business, or Kinesiology, or a combination.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds.
• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Fitness, retail or hospitality experience strongly preferred.

To work productively as part of a team and to motivate and inspire the team to achieve club productivity and customer service goals. To follow all Company standards, ensuring that the work shift contributes to the financial best interests of the Club, ensuring the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively, and both the staff and member experience is positive.The Assistant Manager will assist with recruitment, hiring and training in order to ensure that the club is fully staffed at all times.Ensures excellence in Company Customer Service/Member Service at all times by consistently creating a welcoming environment for the members by greeting and assisting, as well as quickly responding to member inquires and needs.Requirements:At least one year of management experience required.
