What You’ll Do
The Assistant Store Manager oversees responsibilities such as inventory management, associate leadership, and customer engagement. Your strategic decision-making, team cultivation, and operational excellence are critical to our store’s success.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee inventory, stock replenishment, and merchandise displays to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Make impactful hiring, coaching, performance management, and termination decisions for your team.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify development areas, and recognize achievements.
- Set clear expectations and hold associates accountable, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Champion exceptional customer service through direct engagement, inquiry resolution, and enhancing shopping experiences.
- Coach and train associates on customer engagement, contributing to a high-performing team.
- Address negative customer experiences by defusing situations and empowering team resolution.
- Report regularly to the Store Manager on performance, progress, and feedback.
- Ensure store compliance with safety, policies, standards, and legal regulations.
- Support company initiatives like the customer engagement model, RK Visa Card, RK Plus Protection Plan, etc.
- Supervise firearm transaction procedures, including disposal and compliance audits.
- Analyze shrinkage data, identify trends, and implement loss prevention measures.
- Lead the team with autonomy, judgment, and discretion to meet or exceed store goals.
- Participate in cross-training for departmental flexibility.
- Make daily decisions with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Engage in training programs, workshops, and webinars for ongoing development.
- Provide friendly, professional support internally and externally.
