As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will acquire new business and cultivate long‑term business and consumer relationships, manage banker performance and development, and refer customers to other business partners within Bank Five Nine.

Responsibilities

• Actively coach staff and ensure the transfer of learning necessary for employee development and engagement.
• Lead by example and help create a positive and inclusive environment.
• Assist in resolving customer issues in a tactful, effective manner and explain Bank Five Nine policies.
• Ensure staff delivers distinctive customer service.
• Resolve internal and external customer issues promptly and courteously.
• Ensure compliance with all banking laws and regulations.
• Partner with branch management to achieve branch goals.
• Serve as a role model for employees and customers and reflect the Bank Five Nine brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in a retail banking environment.
• Minimum one year of management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Possesses an NMLS ID or meets NMLS licensing requirements.
• Preferred: thorough knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
• Preferred: thorough knowledge of bank regulations and policies.
• Preferred: Wisconsin life license.
