Chestnut Land Company, operating Auntie Anne’s at Tanger Outlets Columbus in Sunbury, OH, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily bakery operations and support the Store Manager.

You will help maximize profitability, train new crew, bake pretzels, manage shifts, and ensure excellent guest service. The role offers full-time hours with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading shifts in a retail, restaurant, or fast-paced setting.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Open availability for evenings and weekends is needed.

The Role

Working alongside the Store Manager—and leading the team in their absence—you will help manage daily bakery operations, maximize store profitability, and build a positive shift culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Manage daily shifts, coordinate employee tasks, and keep the energy high.


• Team Building: Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new crew members.


• Operations: Roll up your sleeves to make dough and bake fresh pretzels from scratch alongside your team.


• Inventory & Sales: Maintain stock/inventory, monitor food waste, and drive the team toward daily performance goals.

Requirements

• Management or supervisory experience in a retail, restaurant, or fast-paced environment.


• A valid driver’s license.


• Open availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
