Job summary

Cafe Rio in Queen Creek, AZ is hiring an assistant manager to lead a fast-paced, guest-focused team. You’ll train, coach and mentor staff while overseeing daily operations and ensuring top quality food and service, from prep to plate.

This role includes 8 weeks of hands-on training, competitive pay, monthly bonuses, paid time off, free meals, health care and retirement benefits, with opportunities to grow as you master restaurant leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant setting with a team of 15+ employees
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication and guest service skills
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation: Competitive salary

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Proof of valid driver’s license
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8 plus hrs.
• 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry managing a team of 15 or more employees at a time, interacting frequently with customers, and coaching employees to assume increasingly challenging roles
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, as well as work weeks that may at times exceed 40 hours
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; able to easily interact with diverse employees, bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
