Job summary

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill in Goodyear, AZ is hiring high-energy assistant managers to lead our fast-paced restaurant teams and help us deliver fresh, made-from-scratch meals.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, coach performance, and ensure top-notch food quality and guest satisfaction in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant or similar service environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to train and develop a team for consistent performance.
• Comfort with fast-paced work cycles and shift scheduling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Compensation: Competitive salary

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Proof of valid driver’s license
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8 plus hrs.
• 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry managing a team of 15 or more employees at a time, interacting frequently with customers, and coaching employees to assume increasingly challenging roles
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, as well as work weeks that may at times exceed 40 hours
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; able to easily interact with diverse employees, bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
