Job summary

Soma Novi store seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will foster a welcoming, hospitality-driven environment and drive community connections.

You will participate in hiring, coaching, and inventory management to meet financial goals and uphold brand standards. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.
