Dairy Queen is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to uphold service standards and oversee daily operations in our Nicholasville location.

You will supervise team members, ensure quality food service, manage shifts, and learn restaurant leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of retail/food service management, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and ServSafe certification where required; English communication is essential.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience in a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and motor vehicle report check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification where required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Assistant Manager provides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
