Jersey Mike's Brooklyn is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our fast-paced team in New York. This role supports the General Manager, develops staff, oversees daily operations, and ensures an exceptional guest experience.

You should have at least 1 year restaurant management, Serve Safe certification, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Compensation is hourly ($23–$25) plus tips, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Serve Safe Certification is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of operational checklists is a plus.
• Able to maintain a reliable schedule.

This position pays an hourly wage between $23 to $25 plus tips!

An Assistant General Manager responsibilities include:

• Motivating, developing and coaching their team
• Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere
• Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience
• Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store
• Scheduling
• Expertise in food safety
• Inventory
• Fill in for Manager in all capacities when needed
• Assist in employee training

Qualifications for the job:

• At least 1 year of restaurant management (More than one year preferred)
• Serve Safe Certification - Required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Have comprehensive knowledge of operational checklists
• Must be able to maintain a reliable schedule
• Education: High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
