The Assistant Manager role at Soma within KnitWell Group’s Meridian, ID store focuses on supporting the Store Manager in leading the team to deliver a seamless, customer-centered shopping experience. You will foster a welcoming environment for both associates and customers, reflecting a hospitality-driven culture.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, coaching staff, and driving sales while maintaining brand standards.

Formación

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.

• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
