Skills: Pizza Assistant Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at our Medford location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pizza and a proven track record of success in a similar role. Leads the opening and closing shifts by supervising and completing all opening and closing tasks while directly reporting to General Managers and Managers. Reports daily updates including out-of-the-norm incidents such as heavy machinery failure, inspections, and injuries at the work site.

Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and high‑quality food.
- Train and develop team members to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pizza industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Opening
- Open the store to the public at its given time.
- Turn on all heavy machinery needed.
- Count registers; verify counts match end‑of‑the‑day counts.
- Check out the safe and assign it to themselves.
- Handle all cash exchanges until the end of their shift and transfer the safe to the incoming manager.
- Upload the daily report to the drive once completed.
- Check managing reports to maintain a healthy sheet‑out stack, pizza rack, and dough count according to projections.
- Oversee employees during their shifts.
- Speak to customers to resolve their requests if needed.
- Ensure Zenput tasks are completed.
Closing
- Make sure the safe counts match with the opening manager. Upon confirmation, assign the safe to oneself.
- Check managing reports to maintain a healthy sheet‑out stack, pizza rack, and dough count according to projections.
- Oversee employees during their shifts.
- Hands out change to cashiers if needed. Fully responsible for the cash handling exchanges until the end of their shift and responsible for checking in the safe at the end of their shift.
- Speak to customers to resolve their requests if needed.
- End of day close registers.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed.
- Ensure Zenput tasks are completed.
- Must be a keyholder. Locks up the store once closed for business and the closing team is ready to depart.
