Role Description

The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lima, OH, supporting the day-to-day operations of a Take 5 Oil Change location. This role assists the Store Manager with overseeing shop performance, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The Assistant Manager leads by example on the service line, helping technicians deliver fast, accurate oil changes and related services while ensuring adherence to company procedures and safety standards. This position is responsible for coaching and developing team members, scheduling staff, and supporting hiring and training efforts. The Assistant Manager also engages directly with guests, resolving concerns, promoting recommended services, and helping to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of guests and colleagues.
• Basic automotive service knowledge or a willingness to learn vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes and filter replacement.
