Charter Foods seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager, uphold brand standards, and lead shifts efficiently.

You will guide Team Members and Shift Managers, oversee inventory, and ensure financial accountability while delivering safe, quality food with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills with strong analytical/decision-making.
• Able to sweep, mop, dust, lift and carry trash in/out of bins.
• Able to clean parking lot and surrounding grounds.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and stoop for 80% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts.
• Take ownership and solve problems with a smile, guiding others as needed.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete duties and duties.
• Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
• Deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.

Charter Foods, a franchisee of leading brands in the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards. As an Assistant Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others. You will ensure that Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability. Your friendly demeanor will ensure the delivery of safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.
