Job summary

Applebee’s in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will support the Restaurant Manager in maintaining profitability, implementing standards, and coaching the team.

Responsibilities include cost control, customer service, appearance and hygiene, driving sales, maximizing profits, and staff development. A minimum of 1 year in casual dining is expected, with POS proficiency and valid certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in casual restaurant industry required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment.
