Job summary

Workstream is seeking an Assistant Manager in Harker Heights, Texas to support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring profitability and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry and demonstrate exceptional team leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities include driving sales, controlling costs, and delivering outstanding customer service. Flexible availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is required, along with familiarity with POS systems and ServSafe certification. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager in running a profitable, well‑operated restaurant. You’ll help control costs, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service while ensuring team performance, development, and a professional restaurant environment.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
