Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is hiring an Assistant Service Center Manager in Glendale, AZ. You will be the right hand to the Service Center Manager, leading a high-performance team and ensuring top-notch service experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience required (coaching, training, and supervising a team).
• Customer service mindset and demonstrated ability to build loyalty while following company procedures.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and history of making sound judgements under pressure.
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance, trends, and identify areas for improvement.
• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays).
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services, educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure that recommended services are reviewed.
• Supervise daily operations of the service center and train new team members.
• Build trust and win repeat, loyal customers by ensuring excellent customer service through Valvoline’s process.
• Develop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees, ensuring optimal coverage and labor law compliance.
• Assist with inventory processes and store audits (e.g., safety, performance, culture).
• Open and close the service center, following safety and security protocols.
• Lead and train the team to optimize their development.
