Job summary

Pieology Pizzeria is hiring an Assistant Manager to join a fast-paced team focused on leadership, training, and exceptional guest service. You will support hiring, develop a high-energy crew, and help drive sales and profitability through smart planning and budget awareness.

You will collaborate on marketing campaigns, promotions, and new menu items while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and fostering a positive culture across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Assistant Manager or Shift Leader in Restaurant/Fast Casual or Catering/Hospitality.
• Knowledge of proper food safety and handling standards/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with hiring, training, and developing a high-energy team of Shift Leaders and Team Members.
• Demonstrate strong leadership to build a positive culture and provide actionable feedback.
• Drive operational excellence to grow sales and profitability; manage planning, budgeting, and P&L to control costs and labor.
• Support marketing campaigns and rollout of new menu items.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability; ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns.
