Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, scheduling and safety. You will support a Shift Manager and supervise a staff of 4–12, assist with events and promotions, and coordinate training to ensure successful operations.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and restaurant supervision experience. You will receive training and work full-time or part-time shifts; compensation is discussed at location.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
