Planet Fitness seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily club operations in Flint, MI, ensuring a welcoming, high quality member experience and teamwork. You will partner with the General Manager to drive operational excellence and strive for service goals across all shifts.

The role requires at least one year of management experience, with strong emphasis on customer service, recruitment and training to keep the staff fully staffed and focused on member satisfaction.

• Fitness, retail or hospitality experience strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Continual standing and walking during shifts.
• Must be able to lift 45 pounds.

To work productively as part of a team and to motivate and inspire the team to achieve club productivity and customer service goals. To follow all Company standards, ensuring that the work shift contributes to the financial best interests of the Club, ensuring the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively, and both the staff and member experience is positive.The Assistant Manager will assist with recruitment, hiring and training in order to ensure that the club is fully staffed at all times.Ensures excellence in Company Customer Service/Member Service at all times by consistently creating a welcoming environment for the members by greeting and assisting, as well as quickly responding to member inquires and needs.Requirements:At least one year of management experience required.
