WOODHOUSE DAY SPA in Carmel, IN, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead our front-of-house team. This is a working leadership role with front desk duties, coaching, and developing staff to confidently sell retail and maximize bookings.

You will ensure guest journey standards are followed on every visit and support the Spa Director with daily operations. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years in frontline hospitality leadership, a proven sales coaching record, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of front desk, guest services, or hospitality leadership experience.
• Proven track record coaching a team to hit retail and booking goals.
• Strong training, coaching, and communication skills.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work regularly scheduled shifts on the front desk, performing Spa Coordinator duties.
• Coach and develop hospitality team members to sell retail and hit sales goals.
• Run daily sales huddles and provide real-time coaching on the floor.
• Maximize the appointment book and drive upsells and advanced service bookings.
• Ensure the guest journey is followed on every guest, from arrival to departure.
• Train new hires and serve as Manager on Duty, supporting the Spa Director.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a polished, guest-focused Assistant Manager to lead our front-of-house team. This is a working leadership role — you'll be regularly scheduled on the front desk performing Spa Coordinator duties, so you should expect to be highly guest-facing every week, not solely behind the scenes.
