Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager at our Farmington Hills location. You will lead a high-performance team, perform basic oil changes and maintenance, and ensure excellent guest service through our fast, trusted process.

You are responsible for taking the lead in helping build a high-performance team capable of differentiating Valvoline Instant Oil Change’s (VIOC) service experience from all other providers. In addition to working on cars and taking care of our guests, you will advise, train, and supervise hourly employees and ensure company policies and procedures are executed consistently. You’ll be expected to:Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services, educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure that recommended services are reviewedWhile working on the floor, supervise daily operations of the service center and train new team membersBuild trust and win repeat, loyal customers by working with your team to ensure excellent customer service through Valvoline’s quick, easy, trusted processDevelop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees, ensuring optimal coverage, managing schedule conflicts and following labor lawsAssist with inventory process, ensuring appropriate product levels and scheduling ordersAssist with store audits (ex. Safety, performance, culture).
