Position: Assistant Manager

We are seeking excellent assistant manager candidates to oversee and coordinate with the store manager the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

  1. Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  2. Achieve company objectives related to service quality and the appearance of the facility through employee training while fostering a positive work environment.
  3. Meet scheduling requirements, cover all shifts as needed to ensure seamless operations, and follow up on callouts or no-shows with the store manager.
  4. Ensure weekly truck deliveries are completed on schedule, controlling costs by ordering appropriately.
  5. Inspect equipment daily and maintain temperature logs.
  6. Verify all received products for correct count and condition, adhering to receiving policies and reporting discrepancies to the store manager.
  7. Maintain cleanliness, procedures, and equipment standards to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC).
Key Skills / Abilities:
  1. Assist staff in providing welcoming, friendly, and courteous guest service.
  2. Assist in preparing and packaging orders according to Wingstop standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  3. Ensure cashiers follow corporate guidelines, including using customer names and encouraging surveys.
  4. Oversee cash and credit transactions, adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures, and ensuring accurate deposits and balanced credit card transactions.
  5. Conduct employee assessments through one-on-one counseling sessions with the store manager.
  6. Hold crew accountable for cleanliness, property damages, and work output.
  7. Be knowledgeable about personal and administrative policies, applying fair and consistent corrective actions when necessary.
Developing Shift Leaders:
  1. Supervise that shift leaders follow proper opening and closing procedures and adhere to company and labor policies.
  2. Ensure shift leaders focus on order accuracy and exceptional guest service.
  3. Oversee inventory, chicken counts, and waste management with shift leaders.
  4. Ensure a professional, safe, and orderly work environment.
  5. Assist in resolving customer complaints effectively or take over when necessary.
  6. Support filling in for positions and delegating work during cleaning schedules.
