Job summary

Papa Murphy's Midwest is hiring for an Assistant Manager/Manager in Training to oversee daily store operations and support the Store Manager. You will supervise staff, handle trainings, and ensure accurate reporting and ordering processes.

Successful candidates will have 1–2 years of QSR supervisory experience, strong customer service, and solid computer skills. This is a growth-track position with opportunities to advance to store management within the market.

Qualifications

• Education: At least high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years supervisory and QSR management experience.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent customer service, basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, POS).
• Must pass criminal background and credit history checks.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Physical requirements: Stand for long periods; regularly lift 25–30 pounds; bend, stoop, kneel; reach with hands.

Responsibilities

• Be at assigned workstation in uniform and ready at scheduled time.
• Complete daily/weekly store paperwork including WSR, inventory, labor reports.
• Go to bank to purchase change and deposits.
• Place and receive food and beverage orders.
• Train team members in all store positions.
• Assist Store Manager with orientations and hiring recommendations.
• May supervise store in absence of Store Manager for extended periods.
• Train and prepare to move to next store manager position within the market.

Summary Description

Responsible for all facets of the operation for a Papa Murphy's store by performing all of the functions outlines on the Shift Supervisor job description in addition to the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible to be at assigned workstation in full uniform and ready to begin work at scheduled time.
• Completes all daily and weekly store paperwork including, Weekly Sales Reports (WSR), inventory and labor breakdown reports.
• Must be able to go to the bank to purchase change and pick up deposit bags.
• Places and receives food and beverage orders.
• Trains team members in all positions in the store.
• Assists the Store Manager with team member orientations and gives hiring recommendations to the Manager.
• May supervise and operate the store independently in the absence of the Store Manager for prolonged periods of time. (e.g. vacations, etc.)
• Train and prepare to move to next available store manager position within the market.
