Stewart's Shops in New York and Vermont is hiring Assistant Managers with flexible schedules to provide excellent customer service in our shops. This entry-level management position helps develop leadership skills and offers a path to advancement.

Ideal candidates have food service or retail experience. Responsibilities include running the shop in the manager's absence, assisting customers, preparing quick foods, operating the register, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness.

• Assist customers with questions and concerns.
• Teach others by example and create a positive atmosphere.
• Assist with schedule writing.
• Prepare food items such as pastries, sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, pizza.
• Scoop and serve ice cream.
• Process transactions at the register.
• Stock shop shelves, coolers and freezers.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the shop.
• Be aware of shop promotions and communicate them with customers.

Stewart's Shops is a fast growing convenience store chain in New York and Vermont with friendly store associates and great customers! We are looking for Assistant Managers with flexible schedules to provide excellent customer service in our shops. This is an entry-level management position that can help to develop your leadership skills.

If you have food service or retail experience, this is the opportunity for you.

• Effectively run a shop in the managers absence.
• Assist shop partners and customers with questions and concerns.
• Strong working knowledge of Stewart's operations, tools and culture.
• Teach others by example and create a positive and fun atmosphere.
• Assist with schedule writing and requests.
• Prepare food items such as pastries, sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and various other Quick & Easy Food On The Go options.
• Make coffee and keep multiple flavor options fresh and available throughout the day.
• Scoop and serve ice cream.
• Process customer transactions through the register.
• Stock shop shelves, as well as the cooler and freezer.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness inside and outside of the shop.
• Be aware of shop promotions and communicate them with customers.

• $19 - $23/hour starting pay based on experience. ESOP & Benefits package.
