You will help drive goals, coach staff, and implement best practices across teams to ensure efficient service for foodservice professionals worldwide.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, with no degree required and a strong emphasis on practical skills, communication, and teamwork.

Job Summary

WebstaurantStore is looking for dedicated and hardworking candidates that have leadership qualities to join our growing company as an Assistant Manager. The leaders and managers within the Distribution Center play a key part of growing our business and serving the purchasing needs of foodservice professionals worldwide.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Department Manager in the following:

• Develop practical solutions to problems without sacrificing quality
• Meet department’s daily, weekly and monthly goals of the distribution center
• Achieve high performance standards while coaching and training employees on best practices of our business
• Analyze opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages and improving efficiencies
• Continually improve productivity targets and process improvements
• Lead employees to fulfil their potential

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations leadership.
• Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.

Education
