Position: Assistant Manager

We are seeking excellent assistant manager candidates to oversee and coordinate with the store manager in planning, organizing, training, and leading to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

  1. Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  2. Achieve company objectives related to service quality and the appearance of the facility through staff training and creating a positive work environment.
  3. Meet scheduling requirements, cover all shifts as needed to ensure smooth operations, and follow up with the store manager regarding callouts or no-shows.
  4. Ensure weekly truck deliveries are completed on schedule, controlling costs by ordering appropriately.
  5. Inspect equipment daily and maintain the temperature logs.
  6. Inspect all received products for correct count and condition, ensuring adherence to receiving policies. Report discrepancies to the store manager.
  7. Maintain readiness for QSC standards, ensuring cleanliness, procedures, and equipment are up to standard.
Key Skills / Abilities:
  1. Assist the team in providing welcoming, responsive, friendly, and courteous guest service.
  2. Help prepare and package orders according to Wingstop standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  3. Ensure cashiers follow corporate guidelines, including using customer names and promoting surveys.
  4. Oversee cash and credit transactions, adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures, and ensuring accurate deposits and balanced credit card transactions.
  5. Conduct employee assessments through one-on-one counseling sessions with the store manager.
  6. Hold crew accountable for cleanliness, property damages, and work output.
  7. Be familiar with personal and administrative policies, applying fair and consistent corrective actions for violations.
Developing Shift Leaders:
  1. Supervise that shift leads follow correct opening and closing procedures and adhere to company and labor policies.
  2. Oversee that shift leads aim for order accuracy and exceptional guest service.
  3. Manage daily and weekly inventory, including chicken counts and waste.
  4. Ensure shift leaders maintain a professional, safe, and orderly work environment.
  5. Address customer complaints appropriately and intervene if necessary.
  6. Assist in staffing and cleaning schedules, delegating tasks to crew members.
