Job summary

Abbey Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Lead for The Abbey at Montgomery Park in Conroe, TX. This full-time role focuses on hands-on maintenance, from HVAC repairs to appliance servicing, with opportunities to grow within a stable, supportive team.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, handle minor plumbing/electrical tasks, and support the Maintenance Supervisor. The position includes on-call rotations and a path to career advancement within Abbey Residential.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily properties.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Installing and servicing appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, washers/dryers).
• Performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment in top shape.
• Light plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Lock changes, painting, caulking, and general upkeep.
• Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and stepping in as needed.
• Participating in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Troubleshooting and repairing residential HVAC systems

What We’re Looking For:
