Job summary

The Abbey at Lake Wyndemere is hiring an Assistant Maintenance Lead in Spring, TX. This full-time role involves hands-on maintenance, HVAC work, and servicing appliances to keep units in top condition.

You will perform preventive maintenance, handle minor plumbing/electrical tasks, and support the supervisor. On-call duties and a focus on quality service are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification is required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily properties.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Installing and servicing appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, washers/dryers).
• Performing preventive maintenance on equipment and units.
• Handling light plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Completing lock changes, painting, caulking, and general upkeep.
• Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and participating in on-call rotation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Troubleshooting and repairing residential HVAC systems
• Installing and servicing appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, washers/dryers)
• Performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment and units in top shape
• Handling light plumbing and electrical repairs
• Completing lock changes, painting, caulking, and general upkeep
• Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and stepping in as needed
• Participating in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

What We’re Looking For:

• HVAC Certification (Required)
