Job summary

American Senior Communities in Noblesville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at Riverwalk Village. This day shift role includes on-call every other weekend and the opportunity to support the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping the community safe, attractive and well maintained for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include basic drywall, plumbing and painting; knowledge of electrical, heating and cooling is helpful. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Maintenance Assistant Opportunity at Riverwalk Village

Day Shift with On-Call Every Other Weekend

Up to $20/Hr

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public.

Skills Needed:

• Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide maintenance services.
• Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
• Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.

Requirements:

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
• Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
