Job summary

The Finger Companies in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at Ascot Court. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and help ensure facilities run safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, can work independently or with a team, and is willing to participate in on-call rotations for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• HVAC certified.
• Must participate in on-call rotation for nights/weekends.
• CPO certified a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to the following systems: plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain and update records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and work orders.
