Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, electrical, basic plumbing, and installation of appliances and fixtures.
• Paint interior and exterior walls and trim.
• Repair parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.
• Operate pressure wash equipment for parking lots and sidewalks.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems; replace worn parts.
• Install light fixtures and outlets.
• Maintain and repair wood parts of buildings.
• Replace worn parts in machines and equipment.
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and unloading supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing skilled and unskilled maintenance tasks to maintain and improve property function for clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs carpentry, electrical, basic plumbing, and installation of appliances and fixtures in property
• Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor
• Paints interior and exterior walls and trim
• Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete
• Operates pressure wash equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks
• Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses
• Installs light fixtures and power supply outlets
• Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings
• Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as truck, street sweeper, and riding mower
• Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
