Job summary

Tipton Asset Group in Denton, TX is seeking an on-site Assistant Maintenance Technician who will handle day-to-day upkeep and respond to resident needs. You will be part of a team ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for current and prospective residents.

Responsibilities include on-call 24-hour maintenance emergencies, grounds work, and assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative tasks; plus bring your own tools and present a professional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience; pool & HVAC certification a plus.

What do we need you to do? Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents.

The Job: Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details: Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance/pool & HVAC certification a plus
