Job summary

Buckingham Companies is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for the role of Assistant Maintenance Supervisor at our apartment community. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain resident experience and property performance.

You will oversee HVAC, electrical/mechanical, plumbing, grounds and refurbishment tasks, and you may lead maintenance personnel in collaboration with the supervisor. This position requires reliable transportation and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Reliable transportation and on-call availability for maintenance duties.
• Owner of a smartphone with reimbursement provided.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with overall maintenance functions for the apartment community.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical/mechanical, plumbing, grounds and structural elements.
• Refurbishment of apartments and coordination with maintenance personnel in collaboration with the supervisor.
