Job summary

BSR REIT is hiring an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in Spring, TX. The role covers daily maintenance across an apartment community, preparing units for new residents, and timely responses to work orders.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems, perform basic carpentry and pool maintenance, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks. Required are a high school diploma or GED, 3-4 years in general maintenance, EPA/HVAC certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent education/experience.
• 3-4 years general maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, swimming pools and carpentry.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, install and repair HVAC.
• EPA certification and/or HVAC license required.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment community.
• Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents.
• Responding to work orders in occupied apartments.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Lock installation and repairs.
• Minor plumbing.
• Minor painting.
• Minor carpentry.
• Appliance installation and repairs.
• Swimming pool maintenance and repairs.
