Job summary

BSR is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor in Houston, TX to perform general maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, painting and carpentry, while leading a team of service technicians. The role includes preparing vacant units for new residents and responding to work orders.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 5–7 years of maintenance experience, EPA certification and/or HVAC license, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-7 years general maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, swimming pools and carpentry.
• EPA certification and/or HVAC license; valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs at the apartment community
• Lead a team of service technicians at the community
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing troubleshooting and repairs
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (painting, carpet cleaning, repairs)
• Respond to work orders in occupied apartments
• Maintain grounds and common areas; inventory control
