American Landmark Apartments seeks an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at our Mansfield, TX property. You will supervise the team, manage work orders, and ensure timely repairs and turnover tasks to maintain property standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years+ as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• HVAC Certification is required.
• Prior multi-family housing experience is preferred.
• Refrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge preferred.
• Irrigation knowledge and dependable transportation with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team and coordinate daily work orders.
• Manage the work order system and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Oversee repair and upkeep of the property on a daily basis.
• Order supplies and track inventory for maintenance operations.
• Support renewal and leasing efforts to meet financial goals.
• Coordinate apartment turnover and related tasks.

Your role as Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is critical to AL’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

We have a new bonus structure! All Assistant Maintenance Supervisors will receive a stipend of $100 when on-call, on top of overtime. ALSO, maintenance team members are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make ready status and work order completion.

Your “Day to Day” at American Landmarkas an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor:

• Assist in the supervision of the maintenance team
• Assist in managing the work order system and tracking work orders
• Responding to work orders within 24 hoursand ensuring follow-up calls are made
• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory
• Assist team with renewal and leasing efforts and to achieve financial goals
• Coordination of apartment turn efforts

Qualifying Accomplishmentsof an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor:

• 3years+ as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor
• 1-2 years supervisory experience
• EPA Universal certification required
• HVAC Certified (Requirement)
• Prior experience in multi-family housing
• Refrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge is preferred
• Irrigation knowledge
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
