ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with all onsite maintenance functions for a multifamily residential apartment community.
• Oversee the physical condition of the property, including vacant units, common areas, and amenities.
• Complete all work orders, vacant unit turns, and special projects in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines.
• Assist with supervising and assigning daily duties to maintenance staff.
• Perform preventative maintenance and manage special projects.
• Maintain 24-hour on-call availability.
• Perform all other related tasks assigned by the property or regional manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven work experience as a Maintenance Technician and assistant maintenance supervisor.
• Desire to grow and learn in the field.
• Ability to supervise employees effectively.
• EPA Certification.
• Plumbing experience.
• Experience with A/C, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and write in English and understand directives both orally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Work hours are scheduled around the requirements of the property and are subject to change as needed. Must be able to work in a highly varied schedule, including weekends.
