Job summary

Westminster Management is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager at Pier Village on the Jersey Shore. You will oversee daily maintenance tasks, building inspections, and mentor the maintenance team to deliver outstanding service for residents and tenants.

The role requires experience in multifamily property management, strong knowledge of safety and housing regulations, and comfort with on-call, weekend, and holiday hours. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in multifamily property management or 3+ years in property management.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, safety protocols, and fair housing regulations.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and fostering strong relationships.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi preferred), purchase order systems, MS Office, and collaboration tools like Teams and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Help lead and supervise a dynamic maintenance team to deliver top-notch service.
• Oversee all community maintenance work, including service requests, preventive, and emergency repairs.
• Maintain effective maintenance programs to protect and preserve the property.
• Keep inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies; model professionalism and following policies.
