Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Maintenance Manager to oversee multiple local sites, including Kettering, Etna, Columbus, and Vandalia, OH, ensuring the smooth operation of one of the world's largest distribution centers. Typical Responsibilities:

1. Site Visits: Manage and oversee multiple locations, including Kettering, Etna, Columbus, and Vandalia, OH, ensuring each site meets high standards of maintenance and operational efficiency. This involves weekly site visits during day and night shifts, depending on management needs.
2. People Management: Supervise 20-35+ employees.
3. Morning Briefings: Conduct daily team meetings to discuss priorities, safety updates, and address any issues from previous shifts.
4. Work Orders: Evaluate, prioritize, and delegate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, assigning them based on technician skills and availability.
5. Facility Walkthroughs: Perform regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards.
6. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, oversee safety training, audits, and inspections to promote a safety culture.
7. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics, generate reports, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
8. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, conduct performance evaluations, and lead training initiatives for maintenance technicians.

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree or 5 years of leadership experience in maintenance.
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing maintenance teams and programs.
• Experience with conveyor systems and robotic maintenance management is preferred.
• Multi-site management experience is required.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Salary: $95,000 - $116,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus incentive.
• Schedule: 40+ hours per week with flexibility for on-call duties across multiple sites, including day and night shifts depending on site needs.
