Job summary

Multi-Family Management Company in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 120-unit property. The role reports to the Office Manager and requires strong organization, multitasking, and effective communication with residents, staff, and vendors.

Candidates must have their own tools, reliable transportation, and a minimum of 2 years in property management maintenance, with knowledge of appliance, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property management maintenance.
• Own tools and reliable transportation required.
• Knowledge of appliance, plumbing, HVAC and electrical repairs.
• EPA/HVAC Universal and CPO certifications required.
• Willing to rotate after-hours on-call maintenance schedule.
• Good communication with residents, coworkers and vendors.

Job description

Multi-Family Management Company is seeking experienced Maintenance Technician for a 120-Unit property managed in Houston, Texas. The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be well organized, able to multi-task, have a professional and positive attitude and be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to residents, co-workers, and vendors.

Must have reliable transportation, have your own tools, knowledge of appliance repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC equipment repairs & installations, electrical repairs and know all facets of apartment make-ready. Ideal candidate will be willing to rotate after hours on-call maintenance emergency schedule. The candidate will also be responsible to help maintain the property, 2+ yrs minimum experience.

EPA/HVAC Universal required.

Must have current non-expired EPA and CPO certifications.

Must be dependable and punctual with a clear background check

EOE / Drug Free Work Environment.

Must have at least 2 years minimum experience directly in Property Management - references required.
