Job summary

TIPTON ASSET GROUP is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to keep our Dallas community well-maintained and appealing for residents and prospects. You will handle day-to-day upkeep and respond to on-call 24-hour maintenance emergencies, contributing to a safe, pleasant living environment.

Responsibilities include grounds work, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least three years of maintenance experience and HVAC certification.
• Own tools required.
• Ability to maintain a professional, courteous demeanor with residents and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex.
• Respond to 24-hour maintenance emergencies on-call.
• Perform grounds work such as trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.

What do we need you to do? Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents.

The Job: Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details: Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Have at least three years of experience and HVAC certification
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
