Job summary

The Marco Group is hiring a production operator in Austin, TX to assist with operating various production machines and ensuring product specifications are met. A high school diploma or GED and basic mechanical aptitude are required, with on-the-job training provided.

Shifts run Monday through Friday with multiple time options. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and maintaining equipment, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid holidays, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Basic comfort with mechanical applications to understand machine functions.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to work independently or in teams while maintaining good relations with coworkers.
• One year of relevant experience preferred or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from machines manually or using equipment.
• Move products, tools, and materials to operate machines.
• Inspect materials during production and report defects to lead operator.
• Maintain coating station accuracy including mix level, pump pressure and replace filters as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and comply with safety regulations.
