Job summary

PAC Worldwide in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Operator to support production on a 3pm-11pm shift, Monday–Friday. You will load/unload rolls, assist with machine setup, and help maintain quality and safety on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance, data entry, inventory checks, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. High school diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalency.
• At least 6 months of manufacturing work history desired.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rolls and finished product from the machine.
• Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment as well as partaking in preventative maintenance (PM) assignments.
• Assist with set-ups and minimizing change over times.
• Maintain budgeted scrap levels.
• Read and comprehend work orders.
• Assist with the production of high-quality products to work order specifications.
• Read and comprehend work orders.
• Complete and apply roll tags.
• Complete data entry timely and accurately in the Production Data Entry and D365 systems.
• Conduct proper housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean workspace.
• Practice safe behavior with regards to equipment and tasks.
• Understand raw materials and finished goods part numbers.
• Conduct accurate inventory counts.

What does an Assistant Operator do?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload rolls and finished product from the machine.

• Read and comprehend work orders.
• Complete and apply roll tags.
• Complete data entry timely and accurately in the Production Data Entry and D365 systems.
• Conduct proper housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean workspace.
• Practice safe behavior with regards to equipment and tasks.
• Understand raw materials and finished goods part numbers.
• Conduct accurate inventory counts.
