Job Description: Machine Operator Assistant - Fort Atkinson, WI

Our customer located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, is a growing company committed to providing excellent service and producing quality work. As a Machine Operator Support, you will assist with machine setup, monitor machine performance, ensure product quality, and support the team to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the machine operator with starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery for efficient operation.
  2. Monitor machine performance, identify irregularities or malfunctions, and assist with troubleshooting.
  3. Help prepare and set up machinery for production, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
  4. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
  5. Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, reporting defects to the machine operator.
  6. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with operational standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation is preferred but not required.
  3. Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability for simple equipment issues.
  4. Strong attention to detail for high-quality production.
  5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
  6. Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 40 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
Compensation and Benefits:

Starting at $17/hour.
