GG & C Bus Company in Washington, PA is seeking an Assistant Location Manager to support the location manager in leading student transportation toward service excellence and continuous improvement.

You will act as the on-site point person when the location manager is absent, oversee routes, schedules, staffing, and safety, and work with school districts to ensure efficient and safe transport while upholding the company image.

Responsibilities

• Builds a positive, service-oriented culture
• Deliver overall performance and results for the location assigned
• Communicate company values, strategies and objectives to all employees while encouraging input from all employees
• Review/monitor performance of revenue and driver wages
• Assist regional director of operations and region vice president in preparing annual budgets
• Enhances and maintains the company image with customers, communities, employees, and other organizations
• Meets regularly with school administrators and campus personnel
• Ensures compliance with all company procedures and policies
• Maintains and directs the usage of company assets
• Assures safe working environment for all employees
• Determines resources needs and plans accordingly
• Directs trainers, establishes training goals for operation and individuals
• Directs technicians, monitoring breakdowns, pm schedules, vehicle inspection report repairs
• Review and establish routes for efficiency and customer needs
• Provide fair and comprehensive employee management at the location including recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, evaluation, and corrective action
• Review, approve and submitted monthly/weekly reports as required
