Assistant Lecturer in Communication Studies focusing on Public Speaking and Advanced Presentational Design/Delivery

The ideal candidate will have expertise in public speaking and advanced presentational design/delivery. There may also be the opportunity to teach in one or more of the following areas: persuasion, argumentation, interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, sport, and/or technology including AI.

The faculty member in this position will: Actively contribute to the intellectual and professional life of the Department of Communication Studies; Serve on departmental, college, and university committees as needed; Engage in professional development to enhance teaching and service skills; and Perform other duties as assigned by the departmental chairperson.




Master's in Communication Studies or related field by date of appointment from an accredited institution; two years of part-time or full-time teaching experience at the college or university level obtained concurrently or at any time.
