Job summary

Heidelberg University is seeking an Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach to support the Head Coach in all aspects of team operation at Heidelberg University in Ohio. You will recruit, schedule, and coordinate athletic activities while promoting academic success and professional conduct.

The role requires 2-4 years coaching experience, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. This on-site position emphasizes development and competitive performance within NCAA

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
2-4 years coaching/athletic experience.
Proven ability to recruit high level student-athletes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative, instructional, and recruiting support to the athletic program under the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach.
Recruit quality student-athletes capable of NCAA competition.
Recruit students who can achieve academic success at Heidelberg University.
Help design a competitive schedule that maximizes athlete development.
Demonstrate strong writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Develop relationships with alumni and supporters of the program.
Assist in planning practice and competition schedules and travel.
Support fundraising activities and uphold NCAA and conference standards.
